Augmenta Travels: Australia

March 2020 saw Augmenta continue its activities around the world. Each visit allows us to meet-and-greet new farmers and distributors, in addition to strengthening ties with the ever-growing Augmenta global community.

On Augmenta's very first foray into Australia, Dimitri, Augmenta's Founder & General Manager was invited by OzValueAg to attend the Wimmera Machinery Field Days event in Horsham, Victoria.Established in 1963, the event one of Australia’s largest agricultural and agribusiness trade shows.

Augmenta showcased its Field Analyzer to the appreciative farmers who expressed great interest in the device and its unprecedented capabilities.

As a leading direct-to-farmer machinery seller and service provider, OzValueAg (www.ozvalueag.com.au) is well-placed to introduce Augmenta to the Australian market.

We are excited to be associated with Augmenta and the technological solutions it can offer,” said the company's Sales Manager Mitchell Blackmore.

“The ability to do real-time variable-rate fertilizer applications will be an absolute boon, especially under Australian specific conditions.” Dimitri's whirl-wind visit also included stops in Adelaide, Ballarat and Melbourne.

“Everyone I met was so receptive,” he said. “When I explained the Augmenta vision, the response from the Australian farmers was overwhelmingly positive,” he added.

Dimitri was there for a purpose so little time was left for recreation or sight-seeing.

However, Dimitri somehow managed to sneak in a quick visit to a wildlife park where he encountered some iconic kangaroos for the first time.

“It was amazing to see such magnificent animals first-hand – the perfect symbols for such a proud nation. We very much look forward to supporting farmers in this amazing country.”
